Clarity in Internet Privacy
With privacy concerns becoming ever more pressing in people’s minds (for example Mashable today highlighted that 70% of US people are worried about securing their personal information online) the need for clarity in internet privacy is ever more pressing. As users we should be clear what is happening to our information when we use web sites, who is capturing what, for what purpose and who can see what we post.
I have written various blogs and given a number of presentations on this issue over the last 18 months. Most recently I gave a Pecha Kucha style presentation (20 slides at a fixed timing of 20 seconds each) at a Digital Surrey event on “Clarity in Internet Privacy” – the slides are below and you can download the text to go with each slide here.
